Our Plants

All the plants are propagated at the nursery from seeds, cuttings and division. Many of our plants are unusual and not readily available elsewhere. The emphasis is on old fashioned ‘good doers’ and garden worthy natives. We have no heating or electricity at the nursery, so all plants are grown cold and therefore have to survive the vagaries of the weather. Tender plants are grown in the spring with advice on care. Annuals are to order only.

As we grow the plants ourselves, we only have a limited stock. It is always advisable to check availability before making long journeys. We will reserve plants for your collection or arrange for you to pick them up at one of the events we attend. We are also happy to grow to order.
